2018

Founding & Growth

Equator is founded in Oman, with a client-first culture at the centre of the model, the thing large institutions in the region have largely stopped offering.

2020–21

The Pandemic Period

Operationally, the firm begins digital client servicing. What started as a necessity becomes the foundation of the platform clients use today.

2021

Operational Consolidation

Introduced multi-currency accounts and portfolio diversification strategies across equities, sukuk and global funds. Adopted a hybrid advisory model combining a freezone presence in Muscat with international custody partners.
